HOW IT WORKS 

We thoughtfully introduce your home to a curated network of photographers, directors, producers, location scouts, and production companies. When interest arises, we reach out to discuss the project, confirm your availability, and present the proposed filming dates and budget.

From there, we handle every detail - negotiating rates, drafting and executing contracts, managing payments and security deposits, and overseeing the production on-site. We also require all productions to name homeowners as Additional Insured on their policy, providing an added layer of protection and peace of mind.

Once your property is selected, the production team will conduct a Tech Scout - a final walkthrough where department heads plan logistics, equipment placement, and scheduling. Afterward, we review all details with you and prepare a customized agreement designed to protect and inform both homeowners and producers alike.

Throughout filming, a dedicated Westside Locations representative remains on-site to oversee the process, safeguard your property, and ensure everything runs smoothly, allowing you to relax while we manage the production.

Compensation varies based on the property's size, character, and the project's scope and budget, but most productions typically range from $5,000 to $40,000+ per day.

TAX FREE - TOPIC 415 FILMING TAX INCENTIVES - The first 14 days of film location rental income are exempt from U.S. federal IRS taxes.

After your property is added to our database, we will market it to a diverse group of photography & film professionals. We'll feature your photos on our website. Once a client expresses interest in your property, we will reach out to you explain the scope of the project, and to schedule a viewing appointment, with the goal of securing a film shoot soon thereafter.
